Minted is a design marketplace, connecting customers with the world's best artists to create unique, high-quality products. We are building a small, fast-moving 0-to-1 team to leverage AI and early-stage startup approaches to develop and ship innovative experiences across all product surfaces.

The Role :

We are seeking a passionate and versatile Senior Software Engineer (AI + Growth) to join our dynamic team. As a technical generalist, you will contribute to the development of AI-driven features, own outcomes from ideation to production, and help lay the foundation for rapid expansion of our AI capabilities. You thrive in autonomous environments, are eager to tackle both big and small challenges, and are motivated by improving user experiences through innovative solutions. This role will work closely with a repeat founder and a small, collaborative team to rapidly prototype, test, and ship features that delight our customers.

This will be a 6 month contract.

You will :

Collaborate directly with the team and customers to rapidly prototype, test, and ship AI-driven features across all product surfaces

Design and implement features leveraging retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and large-scale data extraction

Extend core APIs, AI infrastructure, and data pipelines to enable highly requested application features

Own end-to-end feature development : from ideation and design to implementation, production, and user feedback

Use AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., Cursor) to accelerate development and maintain high-quality code

Work with leadership to align technical solutions with business goals, ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables

AI Enthusiasm : Experience or interest in building with AI tools, such as Cursor, and a desire to push the boundaries of AI-driven features

Show, Don't Tell : Stand out by sharing something you've built using AI tools like Cursor

Full-Stack Experience : Proven experience building full-stack software applications, including web frontends, backing APIs, and data model layers. Exact technology match is not required, but excitement to contribute across the stack is essential

Willingness to Learn : Eagerness to dive into new domains, including AI tools, techniques, and APIs

Technical Proficiency : Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, TypeScript, or similar. Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., React) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, APIs) is a plus

Familiarity with cloud systems (e.g., AWS, Docker), Elasticsearch, Kafka, or database systems (SQL / NoSQL)

Compensation :

The compensation range for the role applies to employment offers from Minted. Our employment offers fall between the minimum and midpoint of the range to allow for continued salary growth during your employment at Minted. The upper half of the range accommodates this growth and supports our intention to create an environment that encourages lasting relationships between Minted and our employees.

Geo Base Full Salary Range - $90.00 / hr - $115.00 / hr

Rates will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, associated job responsibilities, and / or other business or organizational needs.
