Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cath Lab position requiring a MO or compact RN license and at least one year of cardiovascular or critical care experience.

Job Details

  • Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab,
  • Provides care for adult and geriatric patient populations,
  • Monitors physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures,
  • Day shift schedule from 07 : 30 to 17 : 00,
  • 13-week assignment duration,

Job Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license required,
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or Red Cross required,
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area required,
  • BSN preferred,

    • Additional Information

  • Responsible for direct patient care in the cardiac cath lab environment,
  • Collaborates continuously with physicians regarding patient condition,
  • Assists in maintaining equipment and inventory for the Cardiovascular Lab,
  • Obtains supplies and ensures needs of the laboratory team are met,
  • Monitors and records patient conditions continuously throughout procedures,
  • Participates in quality and performance improvement activities,
  • DCI / BVP Workplace Violence Prevention certification may be required and can be completed online,
  • Daytime schedule with no specified on-call requirements,
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same pay rate as travelers,
