Job description

Construction Integration Manager

The Construction Integration Project Manager is a self-starter responsible for managing the procurement, installation, and handover of technical hyperscale datacenter infrastructure. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously, and experience with managing large multi-faceted projects independently.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as an advocate for managing a safe worksite.
  • Manage deliverables and handoffs with various teams, including End-to-End, Security (DCPS), Data Center Engineering (DCE), Data Center Operations (DC Ops), Site Selection and Acquisition (SSA), and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
  • Collaborate with General Contractors, contractors, and associated teams to deliver 'Ready for Network Install' and 'Ready for Server Install' for each lease site location.
  • Effectively manage delivery of technical scope in support of WAN, WLAN, and LAN network delivery and supporting systems.
  • Ensure project delivery in compliance with contract terms, design, technical specifications, and manufacturer timelines.
  • Drive development of solutions and application of lessons learned for global project sharing.
  • Facilitate decision-making to drive solutions, schedules, and manage changes as required.
  • Apply influence, strategies, and negotiation skills to identify options and recommend solutions.
  • Coordinate meetings and activities with the General Contractor, contractors, and internal subject matter experts.
  • Attend scheduled project meetings and report as necessary.
  • Report project progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly, providing status reports to standards.
  • Effectively track RFIs, constraints, and dependencies to support successful project execution.
  • Ensure contractors align with safety standards and contractual requirements.

Essential Skills

  • 5-7 years of experience in data center or mission-critical construction project management.
  • Proficiency in design and implementation of telecommunications and network systems.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools and enterprise software suites like O365.
  • Basic Microsoft Project / Suite experience.
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Construction Health & Safety.
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand low voltage drawing sets
  • Work Environment

    This position is located in Atlanta, GA, and requires 100% onsite presence. The role entails a standard 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, with up to 10 additional hours as needed. The work schedule may occasionally require flexibility, but regular overtime is not expected.

    This is a Contract position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $69.00 - $79.00 / hr.
