Job description

Ardurra is seeking a Staff Engineer to join our team in either office located in Heber City, UT or Draper, UT !

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • EI / EIT or PE Certificate
  • 0-3 years’ experience in the civil engineering field
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and / or MicroStation a definite plus
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented individual with the ability to work on challenging projects in a team environment
  • Excellent Communication Skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects
  • Assists in the development of construction cost estimates for various projects
  • Various design tasks and preparation of drawings under the direction of experienced project managers, along with construction inspection and oversight
  • Keeps Project Manager informed of workload and any changes in project scope or additional services
  • Assists in design components of various projects
  • Provides information to Project Manager or Project Engineer for incorporation into specifications
  • Researches design options and presents options to Project Manager or Project Engineer
  • May serve as onsite project representative
  • Additional duties as assigned
  • Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Ability to navigate various locations and settings of the company
  • Occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to safely operate a vehicle
