Job Title : Assembler

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Assembler, where you will work in either the assembly or mulling department. In the assembly department, you will be responsible for putting components and weather stripping into windows, ensuring a tight seal using small hand tools. In the mulling department, you will build wooden frames around windows, readying them for installation. You will utilize power tools and nail guns. Both departments require standing for the entire 10-hour shift, with the assembly department operating on an assembly line and the mulling department allowing for independent work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and weather stripping into windows in the assembly department.
• Ensure tight seals using small hand tools.
• Build wooden frames around windows in the mulling department.
• Use power tools and nail guns for mulling tasks.
• Work collaboratively in an assembly line or independently as required.

Work Environment

You will work Monday through Friday, with shifts from 6 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm or 5 : 00 pm to 3 : 30 am. Be prepared to work every Friday. The work environment requires closed-toe tennis shoes or work boots, jeans, and provided safety glasses. Although ear protection is available, it is not required. Expect warm conditions during the summer months and standing for 10-hour shifts. Enjoy two paid 15-minute breaks and an unpaid 30-minute lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hayfield, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00 / hr.
