What You'll Do :

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity.

Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help control access and maintain a secure environment.

Remain alert and aware of the surroundings within the manufacturing and industrial setting, reporting any unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and / or contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Carry and maintain control of authorized firearms and equipment while on duty, following all applicable laws and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles is required.

Act 235 qualification is required for positions in Pennsylvania.

Customer service experience is preferred.

A valid firearms permit is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
