We’re hiring Laboratory Technicians to support our growing operation in Anchorage. - Receive, log, and process environmental and materials samples for analysis.
- Perform laboratory tests following approved EPA, ASTM, and NIOSH methods.
- Conduct sample preparation, dilutions, extractions, and instrument runs (e.g., GC, ICP, HPLC ) under supervision.
- Maintain accurate data entry and chain-of-custody documentation in the LIMS system.
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain analytical instruments and lab equipment.
- Support the implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) and participate in internal QA / QC activities.
- Adhere to the Chemical Hygiene Plan (CHP) , safety protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications :
- Education : Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or related field. Equivalent technical experience considered.
- Experience : 1–5 years in an analytical, environmental, or materials testing laboratory preferred.
- Knowledge of EPA analytical methods and ISO / IEC 17025 standards is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Comfortable working with chemicals, instrumentation, and lab automation software (LIMS, Excel, or equivalent). Compensation : $60,000 – $80,000 annually
