    • Responsibilities
    • Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, including Caterpillar and other heavy machinery.
    • Conduct routine maintenance on various types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, excavators, and farm machinery.
    • Repair and maintain hydraulic systems, air brakes, transmissions, suspensions, and HVAC systems.
    • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for repairs and fabrication tasks.
    • Interpret schematics for electrical systems and perform automotive diagnostics.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating heavy equipment.
    • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
    • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
    • Skills
    • Proven mechanic experience with diesel engines and heavy equipment operation.
    • Familiarity with automotive repair techniques including brake repair, alignment, shocks & struts, and tire service.
    • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in industrial equipment.
    • Experience with fabrication techniques is a plus.
    • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
    • Ability to lift heavy objects safely (heavy lifting required).
    • Strong electrical experience related to vehicle systems is preferred.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills combined with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
