Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

What youll do :

• Capture and validate electrical related requirements
• Define electrical hardware logic control, as applicable
• Create electrical schematics / sizing to feed EWIS team
• Analyze electrical functionality of Safety documents
• Coordinate components simulation (as an input to Flight Science team)
• Evaluate system performance under normal / abnormal electrical transients
• Define electrical interfaces : Create and maintain eICD
• Prepare and maintain Electrical Load characteristics document
• Establish voltage drop levels for optimized wiring weight and system performance
• Qualification (electrical) documents review / approval
• Write or assist writing of test procedures
• Write test reports and analysis statements
• Work closely with electrical, mechanical, and software teams to integrate systems

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Companys business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $115,200 - $175,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
