Business Development Sr Mgr (Aftermarket)
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Level 6 Business Development Sr Manager to lead our Sikorsky Aftermarket business development efforts focused on International Military helicopter operators. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth, expand customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities in the Sikorsky Aftermarket sector around the globe. This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong understanding of the rotary-wing aircraft industry, excellent business development skills, flexibility of working hours schedule, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams. This position reports up to the Director of Aftermarket, Business Development.
Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve Sikorsky Aftermarket Orders growth and expansion goals, with a focus on capturing contracts enabling sales of spare parts, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, and other aftermarket support activities
Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities in the Sikorsky Aftermarket sector, including international government and commercial customers
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers, including key decision-makers and influencers in the rotary-wing aircraft industry
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Sikorsky programs, contracts, engineering, and operations teams, as well as Lockheed Martin's broader enterprise, to align business development efforts with company goals and objectives
Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the rotary-wing aircraft aftermarket
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and pain points to inform business development strategies and improve customer satisfaction
Lead and manage a team of business development professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and sales pipelines to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of business development activities
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, including identifying and prioritizing new business opportunities and investments in the Sikorsky Aftermarket sector

Pay Rate : The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $151,200 - $266,570. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education / training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
