Inpatient Gastroenterologist

Position Overview

Inpatient gastroenterology position at Baptist Health. Seeking board‑certified or board‑eligible Gastroenterology physicians with advanced procedural skills in ERCP and EUS. This 7 on 7 off schedule covers up to two hospitals, performing procedures and managing inpatient and ER consults.

Responsibilities

• Perform ERCP and EUS procedures.
• Provide inpatient care for gastrointestinal patients.
• Manage emergency department gastrointestinal consults.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the two hospital sites.
• Assist in teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical research initiatives.
