Job Summary

We are seeking a Personal Injury Attorney to join our law firm. We are a Dallas based downtown personal injury firm. Firm has been opened for over 40 years. Applicant needs to be a motivated self starter. In this role, you will provide legal counsel, perform legal research, draft documents, and update and maintain files. You will work closely with administrative staff, other colleagues, and senior partners to provide excellent legal services to our clients. If you are a self-starter with a passion for law, we want to hear from you. There are bonus opportunities.

Responsibilities

Drafting Petitions, Trying cases, Writing Motions / Responses / taking depositions / handling mediations

Conduct legal research

Prepare for and attend legal proceedings

Commuinication with clients / Insurance companies / attorney's

Negotiate on behalf of clients

Maintain detailed and accurate client records

Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants

Qualifications

Texas Attorney Bar License

Active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite

Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients
