ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Cardiac Sonographer for a travel job in Kinston, North Carolina.

Opportunity :

Echo Technologist - Echo Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 4x10 hour shifts (07 : 00-17 : 30) or 5x8 hour shifts (07 : 00-15 : 30)
  • 40 hours guaranteed per week
  • Schedule mostly Tuesday-Friday with every other Saturday required
  • One weekend shift per month if weekend team member needs time off
  • No call responsibilities
  • 16 hours of orientation provided
  • BLS certification required
  • ARDMS certification required or CCI RCS required
  • Registered Ultrasound technician preferred
  • North Carolina Respiratory Care Practitioner license preferred
  • 2 years experience in ultrasound field required
  • High school graduate or equivalent with background in related healthcare field preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Perform echocardiograms, carotid doppler studies, and transesophageal echos
  • Provide care for patients of all age groups from newborn to geriatric
  • Daily census of approximately 8 studies
  • Must be willing to float to like acuities or less if needed
  • Scrubs can be solid or have appropriate designs, but cannot be light blue or royal blue
  • Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by manager

The facility maintains high standards of diagnostic and therapeutic care with modern ultrasound equipment and interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy services.
