Job description

Overview

This position is responsible for recruiting donors into various automation platforms to optimize product utilization and achieve organizational goals. The role involves implementing first-time donor automation conversion programs to increase donor frequency and retention. The individual will educate donors and staff, facilitate field conversions, and participate in ongoing evaluation of the donor base to refine recruitment strategies for greater effectiveness.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions :

  • Recruit donors into automated platforms by engaging with operations centers and mobile units to identify suitable donors for double red cell donations and platelet profiling, and converting existing schedules based on data and current needs.
  • Enter collection information accurately from surrounding donor centers and mobile units.
  • Contact platelet-profiled donors to share results and schedule future appointments.
  • Identify previous double red cell donors and recruit them for future collections.
  • Support automation collection activities by answering donor questions regarding eligibility and conversion programs, and monitor customer service to recommend additional training if needed.
  • Establish feedback processes such as follow-up calls, thank you calls, and satisfaction surveys to promote donor retention.
  • Create and manage staff and donor promotions in collaboration with the marketing department to boost automated collections.
  • Educate peers and new staff about automation procedures.
  • Exemplify CBCs Customer Service Mission and Core Values.

Other Functions :

  • Participate in mandatory training, staff meetings, weekly meetings with the manager, continuing education, and cGMP training.
  • Recommend improvements to organizational processes.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Education and Experience :

    Education : Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.

    Experience : Two years of sales, account management, or similar experience preferred. Experience in public relations, customer service, or volunteering is helpful.

    Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience that provide the necessary skills and knowledge are acceptable.

    Licenses / Certifications :

    Valid drivers license required and must be maintained.

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

    Knowledge : Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with relevant software applications.

    Skills & Abilities : Attention to detail, ability to work independently, strong interpersonal skills, effective communication in writing and verbally, team collaboration, organizational skills, responsiveness to management, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and problem-solving abilities.
