Inventory Control Analyst, Facilities - Lakeland

We are seeking an Inventory Control Analyst to join our Facilities team! To be successful in this role one must take initiative to complete tasks, have excellent time management skills and have proficiency in data analytics to eliminate inventory issues. The purpose of this position is to ensure parts, equipment, and / or production inventory are accurate, inventory movements are keyed correctly and timely, and systematic records are maintained appropriately. Responsibilities include :
- managing inventory across all storage locations in a division, including scheduling, coordinating, and performing inventory counts for van locations, warehouses, and divisions
- reporting and analysis for warehouse or production operations, including running inventory reports to identify issues
- performing data analysis to ensure accurate material availability for technicians and stores
- collaborating with supervisor to determine best placement for inventoried items and reminding warehouse / production associates of proper inventory receiving, putaway, picking, packaging, and shipping techniques for optimal business operations
Additional required qualifications include :
Associate's degree in Business, Accounting or Computer Science, or other analytical discipline or equivalent experience2 years of experience in warehousing or facilities / production operations or performing analytics in a related fieldIntermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excelexperience with SAP or equivalent ERP softwarePreferred qualifications include :
