The Acute Stroke Unit specializes in providing care to acute stroke patients and other neurological disorders, while also focusing on acute medical care. The unit practices an adjustable acuity delivery of care model to facilitate evidence-based practices optimizing stroke care during the primary prevention and acute care phases.
