Brunswick, Maine : Rare opportunity in this highly desirable college town on the coast just 30 minutes from Portland. Practice in one of Maines newest hospitals a busy 94-bed community hospital, and part of Maines largest healthcare system situated on 150 acres of beautifully wooded land near Cooks Corner / Route 1, a popular shopping / dining district.J1 / H1b visa support is available.Join an established, full-scope practice with an efficient, collaborative team of 6 Physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Practitioners and 4 Certified Nurse Midwives. Together, they manage 500+ births per year with about a third delivered by the Midwives. A typical schedule for the OB / GYNs includes 3 days in the outpatient clinic (average 22 patients / day) and one day in the OR (amounting to 32 patient-facing hours), plus 1 admin day (which you can do from home). Call is shared 1 : 6. With their successful Laborist model, the Midwives perform all triage and low risk deliveries from 7am 5pm weekdays.
