We are looking for a part-time Family Specialist to serve families who have adopted children / youth out of the foster care system, and are experiencing challenges with the child's / youth's behavioral and mental health. The Family Specialist works directly with youth and families to model positive behavior and implement targeted behavioral interventions to enhance stability, safety and well-being. This includes working directly in the family's home and community to provide support and interventions.

This is a part-time position. The schedule is about 20-25 hours per week.
Under the supportive guidance of the Wraparound Program Supervisor, you will work with the Wraparound Facilitator and the Wraparound Parent Partner to provide direct services to youth and families. This includes :
We are seeking candidates with an associate's degree in a behavioral science-related field (or substantial coursework completed toward an AA degree), and who have one year of experience working with high-risk youth (preferred). We will also consider candidates with "lived experience" with foster care and adoption.

This position requires a valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable transportation as driving is an essential job function. Family Specialists are responsible for tasks such as visiting client homes, transporting youth, engaging with community partners, often in locations not easily accessible by alternative transportation methods. The nature of these responsibilities necessitates the ability to drive to ensure timely, reliable, confidential and effective support for the youth and families we serve.
