About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Wisconsin / compact license required

Certifications : BLS preferred

Must-Have :

• Epic experience preferred
• 2 Supervisor References required after offer

Description :

Performs surgery education, fracture care education, and other patient care education.

Triages patient phone calls, assessing and prioritizing incoming calls to assure safe and timely care is given.

Manages PT / INRs for surgical patients pre / post-surgical.

Submits prescriptions as directed by the provider.

Completes and reviews FMLA, disability, and forms that need the provider's attention before submitting.

Schedules surgeries.

Patient Age Groups :

Adolescents, Adults, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.

Additional Information :

Patient care responsibilities may involve follow-up phone calls.

Some duties could include insurance verification and referrals.

Experience with telephone triage is beneficial.

Knowledge of universal precautions is required.
