Outpatient-only practice with a hospitalist program for inpatient responsibilities

Shared call with all Sanford pediatricians with primary responsibilities in the newborn nursery

Sanford Children's Hospital has 146 beds and is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state of SD

Access to a 24 / 7 hotline connecting to the Sanford Childrens Specialty Clinic where there is contact with 70+ sub-specialists for consultative or referral needs

After hours call is triaged by Sanford Clinical Call Center which is staffed by RNs

Teaching opportunities exist for medical students and residents
