We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual HR Generalist to join our team in Baldwin Park, California. This Contract-to-permanent position offers a unique opportunity to shape and establish the HR infrastructure for a growing organization. Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement HR policies, systems, and procedures tailored to the needs of a growing organization.
 - Manage payroll, benefits programs, and HRIS systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
 - Oversee recruitment processes, including onboarding and orientation for new hires.
 - Provide guidance and coaching to managers on leadership development, employee relations, and performance management.
 - Design and facilitate training programs for supervisors and team leads to enhance leadership and team-building skills.
 - Track and analyze performance metrics across departments to improve productivity and accountability.
 - Promote and strengthen company culture by aligning initiatives with organizational values and mission.
 - Organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and company-wide events to foster a positive workplace.
 - Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
 - Maintain accurate HR records, documentation, and reports to support operational and strategic goals.
 - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
 - A minimum of three years of HR experience, including demonstrated ability to lead and implement HR initiatives.
 - Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
 - Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
 - Experience with HRIS systems, particularly ADP Workforce Now, is highly preferred.
 - Proven ability to coach and develop managers and team leaders across various departments.
 - Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
 - Familiarity with the food distribution industry is a plus but not mandatory.
