As MISO's Facilities Manager I, you will oversee daily operations and contractor performance across MISO's locations ensuring reliable and efficient facility management. This role manages both critical and non-critical environments while maintaining high standards of safety, security, and customer service. You will partner with outsourced providers to deliver services that meet contractual, budgetary, and performance goals. In collaboration with business partners, this role supports MISO's real estate strategy and long-term facilities planning to enable 24 / 7 operations and align with the organization's evolving business needs. Your responsibilities as Facilities Manager I include :

• Overseeing facility operations across assigned MISO sites and third-party providers to maintain reliable, secure, and efficient environments, including critical infrastructure and data centers.
• Developing, implementing, and enhancing best practices, systems, and processes (Facility Management Systems FMS; Electrical Power Management Systems - EPMS, SLAs) to minimize operational risk, ensure compliance, and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with internal teams and external partners - including emergency response, contractors, and municipal or utility representatives - to ensure business continuity and strong stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting long-term facilities and real estate strategies by contributing to planning, budgeting, project execution, and cost-saving initiatives aligned with MISO's business goals.
• Monitoring and reporting performance metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and drive initiatives that enhance operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $125,000 - $150,000 USD annually. Base salary range for this position is included in accordance with requirements of various state / local pay transparency legislation. Please note that salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education / professional certifications, and qualifications / experience. Position is also eligible for an annual bonus if individual performance and company objectives are met.
