Position overview :

The Loan Closing Analyst will support the final stages of the loan processfrom clear-to-close through post-close documentation. This role involves assisting with the preparation and review of closing documents, coordinating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring all required items are submitted accurately and on time. It's an excellent opportunity for someone eager to grow their career in real estate finance while learning from an experienced team in a fast-paced lending environment.

The anticipated annual base cash compensation for this role is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.

This role also has a variable cash compensation component, making the total on-target cash compensation from $55,000 - $70,000 per year.

What you will do :

  • Closing support

Assist with reviewing title reports, insurance, and closing documents for completeness and accuracy.

  • Track outstanding items and support the preparation of closing checklists.
  • Help ensure files meet internal compliance and investor guidelines.
  • Maintain organized loan files and documentation throughout the closing process.
  • Stakeholder coordination
  • Support communication between internal teams and third-party partners such as title companies, brokers, attorneys, etc.

  • Coordinate scheduling for closings and follow-ups on outstanding documentation.
  • Ensure closing timelines and updates are clearly and consistently communicated.
  • Funding & post-close support
  • Assist in gathering and reviewing post-close documentation.

  • Support the funding team in preparing wire instructions and funding files.
  • Ensure accurate submission and archiving of documents to capital partners.
  • Identify recurring issues or inefficiencies and offer suggestions for process improvement.

  • 1-3 years of administrative, closing, or processing support experience in a mortgage or real estate industries.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, real estate, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with title and escrow procedures and investment properties; loan documentation experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and follow-up abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
