Nursing Coordinator Supervisor
The Nursing Coordinator Supervisor is responsible for daily supervision and support of nursing coordinators while also performing the full scope of nursing coordinator duties. This working-supervisor role ensures accurate and efficient scheduling of patients, creation of delivery tickets for nurse billing, managing POT submission and retrieval according to state regulations, and management of home health agency scheduling, note retrieval and invoice payment. The Supervisor provides guidance, training, and oversight to coordinators while actively managing a personal caseload of scheduling and documentation responsibilities. The Nursing Coordinator Supervisor has knowledge of the nursing documentation system and working knowledge of Pharmacy Operating System to create nursing delivery tickets accurately and efficiently for billing.

Responsibilities :
Provides daily supervision and support to nursing coordinators to ensure scheduling accuracy and compliance with policyPerforms all nursing coordinator functions, including patient scheduling, creation of delivery tickets, and submission / retrieval of POTsMonitors coordinator workflow queues, schedules, clinician visit logs, and documentation for timeliness and accuracyAssists in training new nursing coordinators and provides ongoing coaching and guidanceEscalates employee performance or compliance issues to the Regional Director of Nursing as appropriateEnsures that POTs and delivery tickets are submitted and processed within required timeframesCollaborates with nurse managers and pharmacy operations to resolve scheduling and documentation issuesKnowledgeable to perform all nursing coordinator functions and resolves escalations regarding difficult casesProvides thorough, accurate, and timely responses to requests regarding nursing coordinator information and ensures the same from the nursing coordinator teamMaintains effective communication with coordinators, nurse managers, regional directors of nursing, and pharmacy staff to support patient careSupervisory Responsibility : YesQualifications :
High School Diploma / GED or equivalentMinimum 2 years' nursing scheduling experience in home care or home infusionExcellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of nursing coordination activities to include scheduling of subcontracted home health agencies, as well as Amerita nursesLeadership skills, independent decision-making abilities, able to be resourceful and self-reliant, drive to learn desiredGood organizational and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsPercentage of Travel : 0-25%Driving Position : NoTo perform this role will require frequently sitting, standing, walking and occasionally bending, reaching, climbing (stairs / ladders). kneeling, crouching, stooping, and typing on a keyboard with fingers.
