Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Adult

Job Details : \n

  • Work night shift with 13-week contract duration

    • \n

  • Scheduled 36 hours per week following first full week of orientation

    • \n

  • Must be flexible with various shift lengths and different days

    • \n

  • No guarantee of hours or shift preference

    • \n

  • Nurse to patient ratio : 1 : 6 for days and evenings, 1 : 8 for nights

    • \n

  • 2-10 years of experience required

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS

    • \n

  • Hawaii nursing license required by start of assignment

    • \n

  • May float to Laulima Unit and Cardiovascular Unit

    • \n

  • Work with medical unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vac, and chest tubes

    • \n

  • Provide general medical surgical nursing duties

    • \n

  • Professional nursing attire dress code required

    • \n

  • Proof of flu vaccination or facility approved medical / religious exception required prior to contract start

    • \n

  • Orientation program provided for each unit
