About The Position

Description

  • Seeking a board-certified Interventional Radiologist is needed to provide in-person coverage for scheduled day and night shifts at a hospital in Springfield, OH.
  • The position includes weekday shifts, weekend requirements, and on-call coverage, with a focus on general IR procedures, strong biopsy, and cancer-related interventions.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of community-level interventional radiology procedures with a focus on oncology and biopsies.
  • Provide in-person coverage during day and night shifts as scheduled.
  • Respond to hospital-based consults and support emergency radiological needs.
  • Collaborate with a fully staffed radiology group in a high-volume setting.
  • Accurately document procedures and patient interactions using Epic and PACS systems.

    Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Interventional Radiology – Required
  • Active Ohio Medical License – Required
  • BLS and ACLS certifications – Required
  • Clean background with no malpractice or disciplinary history – Required
  • Fellowship in Nuclear or Mammography – Preferred
  • Proximity to Ohio – Preferred
