Staff supervision : Direct, evaluate, and oversee all nursing personnel, including hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling.

Performance evaluation : Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and take disciplinary action when necessary.

Budgeting : Manage departmental budgets and monitor expenses.

Policy and procedures : Develop, implement, and update nursing policies and procedures.

Compliance : Ensure the facility complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and licensing standards.

Role Description

This is a part-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor, based in Manteca, CA. The RN Instructor will guide and teach nursing students, developing their practical and theoretical knowledge for a professional nursing career. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, delivering lectures, facilitating clinical practice sessions, providing mentorship, and evaluating student progress. The RN Instructor will create an engaging, inclusive learning environment while ensuring adherence to nursing education standards and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Registered Nursing License (RN)
• new grads welcome
• teaching experience in education.
• Knowledge of nursing theory, concepts, and practical clinical methods.
• Excellent communication, mentoring, and presentation skills.
• Ability to understand and explain create lesson plans and evaluate student performance effectively.
• Proficient in using educational and technology tools relevant to nursing education.
• Ability to work on-site and collaborate with other educators and staff.
• Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field preferred.
• Experience in a healthcare or academic setting is an advantage.
