This position will support product development in a dynamic, fast-paced, and technically challenging environment, focusing on Radio Frequency systems and requiring collaboration across functional groups. The position will include providing process support for the manufacture of the Shop Replaceable Units from received Circuit Cards, as well as supporting assembly into a payload (Line Replaceable Unit). This position will support aerial, military-grade, or space-grade Electronic Warfare Systems and Subsystems. Building a strong professional relationship with other Manufacturing disciplines (Process Engineering, Project Management, Shop Operations, Mission Assurance), strong decision-making skills, and a high-level ethical standard is essential.
What You'll Get To Do
Support to Production : Coordinate with Design Engineering, Production technician, Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and Quality organizations to meet manufacturing contractual commitments. Investigate, design, and provide solutions to support nonconformance repair procedures.
Process Development / Maintenance : Generate and maintain / revise Manufacturing Engineering Process Specifications, Work Instructions, Routers, Tooling / Fixturing, and Equipment.
Continuous improvement : Review of quality metrics to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, cycle time, and defects.
Producibility reviews : Collaborate with design engineering to achieve producibility in new and updated product designs.
Ability to interface / communicate with multiple levels of leadership, clients, and vendors.
Work with Microsoft Office Suite
