We're looking to bring on a full-time Associate Attorney who is ready to hit the ground running and thrive in a collaborative, client-focused team. Our office is located right at the intersection of Highland and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach, with a beautiful view of the beach right from our windows.
Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Report to the Managing Attorney Andrew Ryan and Associate Attorney Jason Kayne
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury matters, in pre-litigation and litigation
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions, including discovery motions and motions for summary judgment
- Appear for case management conferences and hearings
- Develop case strategies and evaluate case value based on liability and damages
- Collaborate with support staff (legal assistants, case managers)
- Maintain proactive and empathetic client communication throughout the litigation process
- Prepare for and attend mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
- Represent clients at trial, with support from managing attorney as needed
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education & Experience
The base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 / yr - $130,000.00 / yr.
