Customer Development Representative - Americas
As the Customer Development Representative - Americas, you will be part of a motivated sales team, driving revenue growth and client satisfaction. You will assess leads, develop opportunities, and close deals within DigiKey's diverse customer base. You will focus on developing, growing, and maintaining a professional business relationship with customers, suppliers, manufacture rep firms and internal DigiKey teams by proactively selling and aligning DigiKey's strengths and value-added services. Your role is pivotal in achieving revenue goals, expand market presence, and improve overall sales performance. This key position will drive digital capabilities alignment with customers, suppliers, and manufacture rep firms to deliver seamless experiences and proactive solutions to deepen customer engagement, increase market share, and grow revenue. Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 30am to 5 : 00pm
- Serve as a central point of contact, facilitating communication and collaboration across customers, sales teams, technical staff, external partners, and cross-functional departments including Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, and Operations to align strategies and maximize results
- Research and identify registration and non-registration sales opportunities to increase revenue and expand market presence
- Document, communicate, and manage sales opportunity detail
- Follow up with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information, maintain registrations, and track project progression
- Support the Direct / Enterprise / Pro Teams in identifying, qualifying, and tracking new and existing opportunities as needed
- Proactively analyze daily and weekly reports to identify trends, monitor performance, and uncover new opportunities
- Implement strategic plans to meet revenue goals and improve overall sales performance using business intelligence and market insights
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics and performance indicators to guide strategic decision-making
- Operate independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Provide subject matter expertise and strategic input to influence goal achievement
- Champion digital adoption initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
- This position may involve working directly with key suppliers and requires a strong knowledge base to effectively support revenue growth
- Perform other duties as assigned, including potential reassignment of responsibilities to support evolving business needs
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience :

The starting base pay rate for this position is : $18.00
