Job Title : Machine Operator Assistant

Job Description

This position involves overseeing production runs through molding machines, ensuring quality control, and maintaining cleanliness in the Main Molding and Polycams areas.

Responsibilities

• Monitor up to five presses based on production schedules and manufacturing requirements.
• Inspect molded products hourly for defects and report any issues to the Team Leader / Processor or the Quality and Shift Supervisor.
• Grind runners and check cappers for runners.
• Clean tracks, bowls, conveyors, and upright conveyors as needed.
• Perform quality checks and hygrade products for defects.
• Complete labeling and ensure the separation of rejected and accepted products.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate and monitor grinders and presses to ensure product specifications and deadlines are met.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area, keeping walkways and aisles clear.
• Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.
• Lift / move items up to 35 lbs. regularly.
• Engage in standing, walking, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching as required.

This is a Contract position based out of Slatersville, Rhode Island.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
