Industrial Engineer
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of experience working as an Industrial Engineer
- Experience with Standard Data and Predetermined Time Systems (such as MTM, MOST)
- Experience with work measurement methodologies and tools with an emphasis on time study expertise
One of our large retail clients is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join their growing Edgewater Park operations. This role will be pivotal for the evolution of automation and driving improvements within the DC.
We are seeking self-starter individuals who are looking to challenge themselves and the DC process' to obtain the overall goal.
Job Duties Include :
- Lead and execute the development and maintenance of accurate and effective engineered standards through time and frequency studies.
- Define and maintain Best Methods for all job functions including training of management and hourly workforce on productivity and work methods.
- Support business objectives and expense and throughput improvement initiatives through needs assessment, work methods flow analysis, recommendations and project implementation.
- Use appropriate project management tools to plan, develop, and coordinate the completion of assigned tasks and deliver quantifiable results.
- Test new concepts to improve the flow and setup in the distribution centers.
- Support the design and implementation of material handling equipment incorporated into existing, new and expanded network buildings.
- Support capital projects when required with work sampling, cost justification (Return on Investment), and cost / benefit analyses.
Compensation : $80,000 to $115,000.
$80,000 to $115,000.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
