Full-time new hires will start in a two-year program commencing in July 2026. The two-year development program is designed as a career accelerator to foster the next generation of investment banking talent. Participation in the program requires that you are located in the continental United States with in-person attendance at your assigned location, in accordance with Capital One's hybrid working model. The location for the duration of this program will be in McLean, Virginia.

Basic qualifications :

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a 2-year MBA with an expectation that your degree will be obtained by July 2026 or earlier
• At least 1 year of investment banking, private equity, or transaction advisory experience

The Investment Banking Development Program is seeking to hire a MBA full-time Associate to join KippsDeSanto & Co. ("KDC"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Capital One, to support its mergers and acquisitions ("M&A") advisory practice within the Aerospace, Defense, and Government Technology sectors.

KDC is focused on providing comprehensive transaction advisory services primarily M&A, private financing, and strategic advisory to middle market defense and technology companies. Our Associates perform critical functions throughout the entire transaction process, from helping to prepare clients for market, engaging with potential buyers, and facilitating due diligence to ultimately closing the deal.

Roles and responsibilities :

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

McLean, VA : $175,000 - $175,000 for MBA Investment Banking Full-Time Associate Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.

This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and / or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non-discretionary depending on the plan.
