Test Engineer Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer, you will work across multiple disciplines and collaborate with Systems, Hardware, Software, and Test Engineers to impact all phases of the Product Development Lifecycle. You will design and develop test solutions, write test software that is mission critical, and support a production environment by completing assignments with some oversight, dynamically switching focus to accommodate daily engineering activities.

Required Education, Experience & Skills

  • U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a clearance
  • BS Degree in STEM with 2 years' experience or AA degree in STEM with +4 years' experience
  • Experience with debug & troubleshooting software or electronic boards
  • Experience with testing and setting up test instrumentation
  • Familiar with NI LabWindows / CVI and TestStand

Preferred Education, Experience & Skills

  • Experience in supporting factory production test stands, debug, problem isolation, and resolution
  • Experienced in developing test measurements for production
  • Ability to perform test solution development
  • BS in Electrical Engineering preferred with +2 years experience developing test software of electronic testing
  • Experience with measurement techniques and ability to diagnose and resolve root cause measurement anomalies
  • Understanding of Test Hardware (test adapters, cables, tools, and interface modules)
  • Understanding of Test Software (drivers, utilities, executives, and libraries)
  • Understanding of statistical analysis
  • Experience following the test development processes
  • Proficiency in C, C# is desirable
  • Possess good communication skills including interpersonal communication and team communication
  • Takes initiative and has a closure-oriented nature

    • Pay Information

    Full-Time Salary Range : $77809 - $132275

    Full-time salary range is based on market pay structures but individual salaries are determined by business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.
