Job Description :
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician Level 3 to support engineering activities related to electro-mechanical systems, experimental design circuitry, and specialized test equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills, proficiency in diagnostics, and experience mentoring junior technicians.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support design, test, modification, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems.
- Work from schematics, diagrams, and layouts to perform testing, checkout, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct operational tests and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- ssist in determining methods to resolve malfunctions.
- Design, construct, test, and check out test equipment.
- Utilize test programs, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and specialized test apparatus.
- Frequently interact with peers and customers to exchange technical information.
- Work on moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment in problem resolution.
- Develop work instructions and assess the quality of work before final testing.
Required Skills & Experience :
Strong mechanical and electrical assembly skills.Proficiency in component-level diagnostics and circuit tracing.bility to develop and execute desktop testing techniques.dvanced electrical diagnostics on subassemblies, whole units, and individual circuits.Excellent soldering skills (through-hole and surface mount component electronics).Experience mentoring and advising less experienced technicians.bility to cross-reference electrical components for functional equivalents when replacements are unavailable.Education & Experience :
Minimum : Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology.Preferred : Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Technology.Experience : 7-10 years of relevant experience.Technical Skills : Required :
