Credentialing Specialist – Entry Level – Birmingham ALLHH is recruiting a Credentialing Specialist for our healthcare client in Birmingham! In this position, you would be responsible for the credentialing and recredentialing process for providers. This role involves high volume data entry and preparing reports.Overview,

  • Hiring type : Direct Hire
  • Location : Onsite in Birmingham, AL
  • Hours : Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
  • Hourly pay rate : $20-23 / hour, DOE

Responsibilities,

  • Initiate recredentialing process and acting as liaison for providers in recredentialing
  • Receiving applications and reviewing provider and primary source responses
  • Verifying NPI numbers and state licenses
  • Data entry of provider credentialing information into multiple systems
  • Assist with claim denials resulting from provider credentialing issues
  • Qualifications include,

  • High school diploma required
  • Prior credentialing or provider relations experience required
  • Ability to type 60 WPM
  • Prior experience utilizing multiple credentialing databases and systems
  • Excellent telephone communication skills
  • Pay Details : $20.00 to $23.00 per hour
