Job descriptionExperience with building and deploying AWS cloud-compatible Java / Spring Boot microservices Experience with technical design and leadership experience Database PL / SQL stored procedures, foreign keys (self-rate 7 / 10) Demonstrated expertise with MQ / Kafka technology to develop and support data ingestion services Some automation knowledge since all developers contribute to automation. Framework is existing FIX Protocol Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range. W2 employees who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for benefits including medical, dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, 401(k) with match, and life / disability insurance as required by law in the state / locality.
Overview
Back End Java / Kafka Trading Systems Developer. New squad focused on Fixed Income (bonds, trades). Working on a modernization project development will be from scratch, since the team is pulling off of the Mainframe.
Compensation : Pay : $70-$75 / hr W2. We can facilitate W2 and corp-to-corp consultants.
Responsibilities
- Build microservices from scratch using Java, Spring Boot and REST APIs
- Write stored procedures and triggers in PL / SQL
- Publish and consume Kafka topics
- Containerize these microservices with Docker / Kubernetes
- Deploy these applications to AWS using AWS Lambda, S3 buckets, EC2 services and CICD pipelines using Jenkins
