Intake Coordinator Opportunity

Minivasive Pain and Orthopedics is looking for a full-time Intake Coordinator to join our team. The Intake Coordinator's responsibility is to secure and confirm permission to schedule the initial appointments for new patients. This involves collecting and finalizing the necessary information for new patient referrals, inputting their information, handling letters of protection, validating patient eligibility and insurance coverage, arranging appointments, and maintaining communication with referral sources and relevant departments about the patient's progress and any changes.

Essential Functions :

Ensure that all necessary authorizations have been obtained prior to scheduling new patients.

Verify insurance eligibility for upcoming appointments by utilizing online websites or contacting carriers directly.
