Senior Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. This role is pivotal in managing and optimizing our accounting processes, ensuring precision in financial reporting, and fostering collaboration across various departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, particularly within a SaaS or technology environment, and will be instrumental in supporting our company's growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the month-end closing process while maintaining comprehensive reconciliations and supporting audit activities.
- Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP standards.
- Reconcile critical balance sheets, including cash, accounts payable / receivable, inventory, and deferred revenue.
- Perform variance analysis and collaborate with FP&A to address discrepancies against forecasts.
- Manage consolidation and intercompany accounting, including elimination entries.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and interim reviews, ensuring audit-ready materials are maintained.
- Support the enhancement of internal controls, including SOX-lite controls when applicable.
- Assist with ASC 606 compliance for subscription and multi-element contracts.
- Oversee the Accounts Payable process, including vendor onboarding, invoice management, and payments.
- Manage employee expense reimbursements and support cash management activities.
- Ensure compliance with multi-state sales / use tax and manage state sales tax filings.
- Contribute to budgeting processes with accurate accounting inputs and perform departmental expense analyses.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and Operations to deliver accurate financial data and reporting.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CPA preferred.Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.Strong understanding of US GAAP, ASC 606, and general ledger principles.Experience with Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems and integration tools such as Salesforce and Bill.com.Compensation :
The salary for this position is $95,000, with an additional $10,000 performance-based bonus, totaling $105,000 OTE.
