LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Snellville, Georgia.

Requirements

Minimum Experience :

1 year of experience required

First-time travelers not accepted

Patient Population :

Adults to Geriatrics

Certifications Required :

BLS (Basic Life Support)

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements :

PCU RN – Unit handles multiple diagnoses including :

GI Bleed, DKA, Stroke, TIA, Hypertension, NSTEMI, COPD, CHF, etc.

Ratio / Census : 1 : 4; 24 beds

Systems : Epic, Pyxis, SBAR

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Weekends :

Every other weekend unless specified otherwise

Floating :

Required throughout the facility or sister campus (Piedmont Eastside South)

Call Requirements :

None

Holidays :

If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work it.

If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work both.

If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler is expected to work two.

Major Holidays Include :

New Year’s Eve & Day : Dec 31 & Jan 1

Spring Break : Apr 6–Apr 12 (NO RTO)

Memorial Day : May 26

Independence Day : July 4

Labor Day : Sept 1

Thanksgiving / Black Friday : Nov 27 & Nov 28

Christmas Eve & Day : Dec 24 & Dec 25
