RETTEW is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Transportation Team. This role will lead major transportation projects, manage client relationships, and drive delivery across multiple disciplines. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and strategic impact, the Senior Project Manager ensures projects are delivered on time and on budget while strengthening RETTEW’s reputation in the market.

Work Environment : Hybrid work model (three days in-office) with flexibility across our listed office locations.

Locations : Berwyn, Lancaster, Lehigh Valley, Mechanicsburg, State College, Williamsport, or Pittsburgh, PA; Akron / Canton, OH; or Morgantown, WV

Position Summary / What You’ll Do

The Senior Project Manager leads a portfolio of complex transportation projects, coordinating across roadway, structural, and traffic disciplines. This role manages client expectations, project resources, and financial performance while mentoring the next generation of project managers and engineers.

Responsibilities / Day-to-Day

• Manage multiple transportation projects from proposal through delivery
• Define and oversee project scopes, budgets, schedules, and resources
• Direct internal engineering teams and external subconsultants
• Serve as primary client contact, strengthening long-term relationships
• Ensure quality, compliance, constructability, and successful agency reviews
• Track financial performance, forecasts, invoicing, and profitability
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively
• Mentor and develop project managers and mid-level staff
• Support business development through proposals, qualifications, and client engagement
