Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I acts as the face of the company for patients receiving diagnostic services. This role is responsible for performing safe and accurate specimen collection, ensuring professionalism, patient comfort, and adherence to clinical standards at every step.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform blood collection procedures and prepare samples for lab testing

Maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment

Accurately follow forensic and clinical specimen protocols

Document collection and patient interactions per standard procedures

Explain collection process to patients to foster trust and understanding

Support organizational mission by projecting a positive company image

Required Experience :

Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience

High school diploma or equivalent

Proficiency in data entry and keyboard operation

Nice-to-Have Experience :

1+ year of phlebotomy experience

Customer service in retail or healthcare settings

Medical assistant or paramedic training

Required Skills :

Strong pediatric and geriatric phlebotomy skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

High accuracy in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills :

Phlebotomy certification (Required in CA, NV, WA)

Availability for weekends, holidays, and overtime

Attention to confidentiality and patient care standards

Additional Skills :
