DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Records Specialist 1, you will assist with compiling, reviewing, evaluating, and validating inmate records. You will gather documentation, respond to requests for information, prepare correspondence, and maintain accurate inmate records. You will also process incoming and outgoing inmate transfer records, photograph and fingerprint inmates, and perform sentence computations. This role requires strong analytical skills to interpret information and the ability to work independently. In addition, you will coordinate transportation for inmate court appearances, review legal documents, and ensure records comply with policies and procedures.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position.
• Salary : Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $40,685.00 (before taxes).
