Job Position : CDL Driver – 26' Reefer Trucks & 53' Tractor-Trailers

Status : Full Time / Non-Exempt

Hourly : $24

Responsibilities

Safely operate 26' refrigerated box trucks and 53' tractor-trailers as assigned.

Drive local routes (approx. 4 : 00 a.m. – 1 : 30 p.m.) and non-local routes (approx. 12 : 00 a.m. – 2 : 00 p.m.), as scheduled.

Ensure compliance with FMCSA / DOT regulations, insurance requirements, and company policies.

Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate ELD driver logs.

Load and unload shipments (pallets or racks).

Provide professional customer service and maintain clear communication with supervisors and clients.

Follow all safety practices and company procedures.

Be punctual, reliable, and able to follow detailed instructions.

Requirements

Age : 21 years or older.

License : Valid CDL Class A (required for tractor-trailer; also covers straight trucks).

License must be issued in the state of residence.

Temporary, instructional, or interim licenses are not accepted.

Experience :

3 years verifiable commercial driving experience (per insurance carrier).

At least 1 year of tractor-trailer experience preferred.

Driving record :

No more than 3 accidents in the past 3 years (regardless of fault).

No Type A violations in the past 3 years (DUI, reckless driving, hit & run, etc.).

No more than 4 total incidents (accidents + Type B violations) in the past 3 years.

No more than 3 Type B violations in the past 18 months.

No license suspension or revocation within the past 2 years.

Must pass DOT physical and drug / alcohol screening (FMCSA Clearinghouse check required).

High School Diploma or GED required.

Good interpersonal and communication skills; strong customer service attitude.

Physical Demands

While performing duties for this position, the driver will be required to :

Work both indoors and outdoors, day and night, subject to temperature changes.

Lift, carry, push / pull, sit for extended periods, walk, kneel, and reach as needed.
