Vice President of Investor Relations
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President, Investor Relations (IR) to join our team. The Vice President of Investor Relations will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our relationships with the investment community, including institutional investors, equity research analysts, retail investors, and other stakeholders.
The ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic communicator who can articulate TTM's complex technology portfolio, competitive positioning, and growth strategy across defense and commercial markets. The Vice President, Investor Relations will play a critical role in building investor confidence, optimizing the company's valuation, and supporting capital markets activities.
Duties and responsibilities include :
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that effectively communicates TTM's value proposition across its diverse technology portfolio
- Create compelling, data-driven narratives that reflect the company's strategic direction, operational achievements, and financial performance.
- Develop and deliver clear, consistent, and accurate financial communications, including earnings releases and conference calls, investor conferences, roadshows, investor / analyst days, and one-on-one meetings.
- Act as a liaison between senior management and the investment community, including preparation of speeches, presentations, and talking points for earnings calls, conferences, and meetings.
- Manage the preparation of fact sheets, website content, and other communication materials
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Corporate Communications to ensure consistency in external messaging
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant disclosure of material information in accordance with SEC regulations and corporate governance best practices
Additional responsibilities include :
Build and maintain strong relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts, institutional investors, and financial media.Coordinate the company's interactions with analysts, institutional investors, and other financial influencers to ensure alignment with the company's business strategy.Address investor inquiries, providing timely and accurate information on the company's financial results, strategic initiatives, and industry trends.Conduct competitive intelligence and peer group analysis to benchmark TTM's valuation and market positioning, and provide senior leadership and the Board of Directors with relevant market insights, investor feedback, and competitor intelligence.Monitor and analyze investor sentiment, stock performance, trading patterns, and ownership trendsProvide actionable insights to executive leadership on investor perceptions, concerns, and opportunitiesTrack sell-side research coverage and maintain consensus estimates databaseHelp guide the company's corporate strategy based on market perceptions, investor concerns, and shareholder expectations.Support CFO and executive team in capital markets transactions including equity / debt offerings, investor days, and M&A communicationsManage relationships with investment banks and other capital markets advisorsCoordinate targeting and outreach for new institutional investor prospectsSupport proxy solicitation and shareholder engagement during annual meeting seasonAnalyze quarterly financial results, market trends, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide context for investor communications.Work closely with the finance and accounting teams to ensure alignment of financial reporting, internal and external messaging, and corporate disclosures.Manage IR budget, technology platforms, and external service providersEnsure that all investor relations activities comply with legal, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements, including SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, proxy statements, etc.), Regulation FD, and corporate disclosure obligations.Stay informed on regulatory developments affecting the aerospace and defense sector, as well as our commercial end marketsPartner with Legal and Board of Directors on corporate governance matters affecting investor relationsIn partnership with senior management, respond to crisis situations and provide clear, transparent communication to investors and analysts to maintain confidence and mitigate potential reputational risks.Coordinate with legal, public relations, and finance teams to address any sensitive issues or potential controversies.Coordinate and organize investor conferences, roadshows, earnings calls, and investor meetings.Ensure that senior executives are well-prepared for engagements with the investment community, ensuring consistent messaging across all communications.Essential knowledge and skills include :
Deep understanding of capital markets, equity valuation methodologies, and investor decision-making processesExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical and financial concepts.Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to interpret financial data and market trends.Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis, with experience in using tools like Excel, Bloomberg, or FactSet.Ability to build and maintain relationships with senior management, investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.High level of professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.MBA or CFA designation preferred.Minimum 12-15 years of progressive experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or institutional investingAt least 5-7 years in a senior investor relations leadership role, preferably with public technology, aerospace / defense, or electronics manufacturing companiesProven track record managing investor relations for a publicly traded company (NYSE, NASDAQ)Experience communicating complex technical products and business models to non-technical audiencesProven experience in managing earnings calls, investor presentations, and analyst relations.Professional certifications (CFA, NIRI Certificate in Investor Relations)Experience supporting capital markets transactions (IPOs, secondary offerings, debt issuances)Note : The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel.
