Lead of Hardware Engineering

Position Overview :

Argon is seeking a strategic and technically adept Lead of Hardware Engineering to drive the development of ruggedized electronics, displays, and computing systems for mission-critical defense and aerospace applications. This leadership role is responsible for managing the entire hardware development lifecycle-from concept and design through production-ensuring all solutions meet stringent performance, reliability, and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in electronic hardware design, a proven ability to lead high-performing engineering teams, and a strong commitment to innovation in high-reliability, high-stakes environments.

Scope of Responsibility & Core Objectives :

• Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the Hardware Engineering team, ensuring the successful development and delivery of high-quality, ruggedized electronic systems built on modular and scalable architectures.
• Foster a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), and Design for Testability (DFT).
