Our School Services Division provides a range of school support services to students in more than 100 non-public and charter schools throughout the Delaware Valley.

We are currently recruiting Teachers of the Visually Impaired for the 2025-2026 school year.

Part-time, 10-month position

In addition, as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired your duties will include :

• Collaborating as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide instructional strategies to assist students who are visually impaired
• Planning lessons and activities based on skill levels of students in caseload, using techniques and materials to enhance the student’s academic abilities
• Conducting orientation and mobility evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs including the amount and frequency of services needed; providing instruction on orientation and mobility techniques and in the use of orientation and mobility materials and devices
• Providing support and consultation to parents, teachers and other school staff to assist with integrating orientation and mobility goals into classroom and home activities
• Collecting and maintaining data to document and evaluate students’ progress on an ongoing basis
• Adhering to agency guidelines and requirements concerning caseload management, record- keeping, and accountability
• Other relevant duties as assigned or required
