Neurohospitalist / NCCU Faculty – MetroHealth System, Cleveland, OH

Opportunity Overview : The Department of Neurology at MetroHealth System seeks a board certified / eligible Neurologist for a Neurohospitalist / NCCU faculty position to provide Neurocritical Care and / or NeuroHospitalist services that cover an 8‑bed Neurocritical Care Unit and a 14‑bed stroke unit, along with acute stroke care and inpatient consults.

Key Responsibilities & Schedule

• 13 weeks of Neurocritical Care plus 11 weeks of Neurohospitalist / acute stroke call
• Work week : Monday 7 AM – Monday 7 AM
• During work week, no overnight in‑house call but quarterly overnight pager call
• 24 / 7 in‑house neurology and neuro‑ICU APPs
• Supportive, collaborative environment with 24‑7 neuro‑interventional and neurosurgery coverage
• Team comprises neurocritical care‑trained advanced practice providers
• Teaching and clinical research integral to the position
• Potential for leadership and participation in quality improvement projects if desired
• Option to participate in EEG interpretation
