MEP Superintendent - Government Projects - DC Metro
The MEP Superintendent - Government Projects - DC Metro will be responsible for :
- Enforce OSHA and project-specific safety protocols across all MEP site activities.
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure a zero-incident work environment.
- Oversee MEP subcontractors, manage manpower, work sequencing, and adherence to plans and schedules.
- Coordinate deliveries and ensure timely installation of all equipment and materials.
- Review submittals and resolve field installation issues in real time.
- Manage quality control processes and lead technical coordination meetings.
- Work closely with subcontractors and design teams to resolve MEP conflicts.
- Assist in trade bidding and procurement processes.
- Track equipment submittals and deliveries to ensure alignment with project timelines.
- Oversee mechanical and electrical system startups.
- Coordinate with third-party commissioning agents and manage all related documentation.
- Maintain strong, professional communication with federal clients and stakeholders throughout project delivery.

The MEP Superintendent - Government Projects - DC Metro will have :
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical or electrical system construction.At least 3 years of experience in mission critical, hospital, or MEP-intensive projects.Strong working knowledge of OSHA standards and construction best practices.Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore or equivalent.Strong leadership, scheduling, and communication skills.Willingness and ability to travel to project sites.Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.LEED AP, OSHA 500, or other relevant certifications.BIM experience is a plus.The MEP Superintendent - Government Projects - DC Metro will receive :
