One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for Construction Project Managers to support their ongoing growth in the Northern Virginia market.
This individual will provide overall management direction on numerous project(s). They will establish project objectives through planning and budgets, serves as the primary point of contact with the client, and monitors construction and financial activities in collaboration with the Superintendent. They will be fully responsible for the financial results of the project as well as for safety measures, ensuring that all phases of the job are being completed in a safe manner.
Specifically, this individual will be managing preconstruction duties (planning/budgeting/scheduling), coordinating start up, managing costs and schedules, submitting technical reports, and working directly with the client to ensure all milestones are being met.
This is a fully onsite role local that is tied to the Arlington, VA office but requires Project Managers to be at the project locations, which vary across the DC metro area.

Required Skills & Experience
- 4+ years of construction experience with Bachelor's Degree in Construction/Engineer OR 7+ years of requisite construction experience with no degree
- Background in concrete subcontracting STRONGLY preferred
- Knowledge of project financials (budgeting, profitability, cash flow, change orders, etc.)
- Ability to create key reports such as work-in-progress reports, job cost reports, retention reports.
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Able to effectively convey safety requirements and trainings on the job site to labor and superintendents.
- Clean background and driving records; ability & willingness to travel across the region
- Knowledge of construction software such as Procore, BIM, Bluebeam and MS Project.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Previous experience with concrete cutting, forming, and demolition
- Knowledge of various concrete construction methods including tilt-up, cast-in-place, or pre-cast.
- Willingness to travel nationwide
